You can see this from Trail of Tears Overlook Park, where Main St. approaches the Tennessee River. This is a gate along the Cherry Mansion's Stone Wall which was used as a retaining wall. The owner of the mansion was also the owner of the ferry which operated at this site, so the gate would make convenient access.
