Located on Rutledge Hill along Lea Ave between 2nd Ave S and Rutledge St., Riverboat Captain Tom Ryman built his house here because of the view of the river. Ryman had paid for the construction of the Union Gospel Tabernacle, which became the venue Ryman Auditorium. After the house was gone, the city never really figured out what to do here. In the 50's and 60's, the lot was a trailer park and today it's owned by Citadel who broadcasts 103.3 WKDF and 104.5 WGFX from here.
