Several areas which belonged to the Carter family around Columbia Ave. (US31) has been developed into a park with multiple markers. This includes the land between the Carter House and Strahl Lane, plus the areas north and south of Cleburne St. which is known as Carter's Hill Park and the Carter Gin Site.
