The September 11 Memorial at the Rutherford County Sheriff's Office in Murfreesboro is a local treasure which deserves to be more well known. However, it's not visible from the main road (New Salem Rd. or TN99) and most people wouldn't casually be visiting the local jail. It was dedicated in 2011 on the 10th anniversary. Set inside the concrete below the I-beam is debris which I assume is representative of the type of debris found at the site.
