This Christmas, I noticed that Santa had three e-mail addresses on the internet.
I decided that I should write to each of them to see what response I would get.
In the body of each message I said:"For Christmas, I would like a driver's
liscense!"  Here's the first message I got back:

>Hi           ,
>I bet you thought you wouldn't hear from Santa!!  Mrs Claus and I got swamped
>with thousands of email and there are only two of us to answer it all.  I hope
>you like what I brought you.  As you know Santa can't always bring everything
>but I try.  I'm hope you will be good all of 1995.  Did you take your learner's
>permit course yet?
>Love
>Santa

the second letter said:"You don't realise how easy the drivers liscense is.  I
have to take the reindeer-driven sleigh test.  The written exam is next to
impossible."

The third letter was a bit more commercial:

>Thank you for your e-mail.  We have received your letter at the
>North Pole, and it will be given to Santa as soon as he takes a
>break from loading the sliegh.
>
>Posty.
>The mail elf.

Many of you who use e-mail frequently know what smileys are.  It is a way of
showing emotion in an otherwise emotionless letter. the basic one you may have
seen is :-).  Attached with this week's letter is the complete list of smileys.
Enjoy.

      Hasta Luego,
