There are two common types of church buildings I find interesting, and these two types are very different in many ways.  First, there are the city churches that are large, often with Gothic-inspired designs, and ornate fixtures.  Then, there's the country churches, that are often small, white-painted wooden, A-frames, some of which are intentionally plain in their design.  It's just a building, but in many cases it says so much about the people who meet there.
