I thought this bench was interesting, but originally wasn't going to post it. The more I looked at it, the more I thought it was interesting. I've seen etched marble memorials before, but perhaps not on a bench. Not only is there a cat and dog, but a sheep and a horse. This Veterinarian must have been beloved by the South Carthage community to have this bench made in his honor. It is located in the middle of town at the end of the Rails-to-Trails walkway.
