The Fentress County Courthouse in the town square of Jamestown, TN was built in 1901. It was enlarged and renovated in 1976. The county jail was added onto the back of the courthouse in 1979, replacing this one. Most of the exterior of the building is made from Crab Orchard Stone, which is common in much of this area. The clocks on the tower are also relatively new. (I saw a picture from the late 70's when there were no clocks there and it was an empty white area.)
